How to Search PERIND: About and Access

PERIND is an index to articles relating to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and ASEAN (as an entity) produced by the National University of Singapore Libraries. It contains citations from more than 200 core titles of local and international journals.

The subjects covered in the database range from the humanities and social sciences to business and management, architecture, building, science, technology, law and medicine. The majority of the articles cited are written in English with the rest written in Malay, French, German and Dutch. Most of the citations date from 1980. Articles on medicine and law however date from 1975 and 1932 respectively.

In addition to journal articles, the database also includes book reviews, book chapters and conference papers.

Access to PERIND is limited to NUS IP addresses. It is available only to NUS staff and students when they are logged in to NUSNET or the library proxy using their NUSNET ID and password.
