How to Search PERIND: Full-text of Article

To find out whether the Library has the cited article, click on Check Library Holdings in the Call number/Location field of the full bibliographic record. The system will check for matching record for the source in LINC.

Take note of the location and status of the specific volume you need when the record in LINC appears.

Go to the location where the volume is kept to retrieve the article.

In some instances, you can view the full text of the article if the Library subscribes to the electronic version of the journal. This is indicated in the Links field.

To view the full text, click on the vendor name in the Links field, e.g. JSTOR.

Records without Check Library Holdings usually have another field called Reprints with instructions on how to request them.

Reprints refer to documents kept in the Reprint Collection in the Central library or Medical Library.

To request the reprints, take down the Document number of the record for the article. Quote the document number when requesting the reprints at the Information desk of the Library holding them.
